The headline speaks for itself, but trust me when I say that even YOU dear reader are not prepared for the outright INSANE amount of love that was poured into this chiptune, Mario-Themed remake of the superb Game of Thrones intro. It even adapts the dynamics of the world, seeing Yoshi’s Island rise into prominence, along with another location or two as it sweeps across the map in charmingly 2D fashion.
Should we complain? Maybe. Seeing a boss tower or two go down (similar to Winterfell’s procedural destruction in the show), would have been a cute twist. Also, he misspelled Miyamoto’s name!
But to take that nitpicking as gospel would be to diminish the awesome work done here by Youtube user NickSplosionFX, and we simply can’t do that. Have a look, and pray to the seven gods that its catchiness can knock the PETER DINKLAGE version out of your skull.
It probably won’t.
